After 72 hours in hospital, Donald Trump is discharged from the hospital
U.S.A President Donald Trump returned to the White House on Monday, after spending three nights at the Walter Reed military medical center, where he received treatment for Covid-19.
After leaving the Marine One helicopter, Trump entered the official residence through the balcony of the Blue Hall, and not through the typical entrance to the site. He went upstairs and took off his mask, putting it in his pocket and making a jewel sign for the camera.
Despite being discharged from the hospital, Trump is still not cured of the disease, as the medical team pointed out at a news conference this afternoon. He will continue to receive treatment at the White House.
Since last Friday (2), when the president was diagnosed, at least 31 people in the immediate circle of the government confirmed that they had contracted the new coronavirus.
A CNN poll released Monday showed that two-thirds of Americans believe Trump acted irresponsibly towards his infection, disregarding the risk of spreading it to others.
